A letter from ‘Them’ about the problem of women

The Bitch is wide open,

No discernible boundaries,

She flaps in the wind.

She shows you everything

And I mean everything

And in seeing,

You too are revealed.

The Bitch could blow the fucking lid off everything,

Leave us completely and utterly exposed.

We have to tame the Bitch,

Shame the Bitch,

Put only pain on her lips,

Otherwise we’re toast.

Peach

Trickling, sweet nectar

The fruit ripens as I watch

Bruising, it matures

Sweeter and sweeter

Growing fur,

And collapsing.

She becomes a gift to the soil.

Drink in the wisdom of dying.

Of the fruiting thriving

Which too, in its beauty, moulds

Beyond

(For Vera)

My body hangs from the crown of my head, which calls toward the sky.

Toward that which is beyond myself, not me, not mine, not I.

No fear is here,

No pain or longing,

All that was I fades into not knowing.

Beyond the place where eye can see,

Where skin can touch,

Or ear can hear.

Beyond the words written here,

There you are.

To Have and to Hold

Pressing under it,

Shouldering and holding

The weight

Waiting

Hoping and dreaming.

Living on pause and loading,

Bearing the load,

Of expectation.

Here we are,

Expecting to become.

My sternum aches with it,

The gap between the here and there,

The tight lipped strain of it,

Pain of longing,

Pain of acquiring,

Pain of losing

The fallacy of owning.

Release yourself and me.

Because I want to live easy,

I want a baby and love everlasting.

The house, the home, the stable.

Stability, security and assurance.

What do I have?

What can I have it?

When will I have to let it go?

Manifesto of a Divine Receiver

I am a threshold warrior

A desert dweller

Queen of the inbetween

I am an idiot

A not-knower

Luxuriating in the unmanifest

The place between known and unknown is my comfort zone

My heart lifts and my throat opens to welcome in mystery

I am a channel

An empty head, echoing

I am a tuned in receiver

My body vibrates with the possibility of endlessness

Of the unfathomable

The numinous, ineffable

This is my Queendom

This place of not yet

Nothing

Potentiality

Freedom

I’m ready to receive
